I'm not a model. This thing is actually very hard. My manager Yasha worked out a deal with his old friend back from his MRA radio days Erich Silalahi. Erich has recently started out his own photography business called CMYK. Saturday was the first day of two, and the photographer is Cka who spent years taking fashion photos for Indonesia's Harpers Bazaar.
We started before noon at this studio in Cinere, and finally finished at 21:00. It was 14 hours of work for me, the make up artist, my make up artist start doing his work on my face at 7:00 am. It was really exhausting for me, to hold every pose in hours. I went home feeling like I have worked out at the gym for hours, with muscles tensed everywhere. No wonder models are skinny. Being a model is a tough work..it is very physical..and they have to act in order to get good pose and good expression. So thank God I am not a model. To all models, I salute:)
The pictures you see on this page were taken by Yasha (with his pocket Canon Powershot), at the set that was built by Cka and his cousin/assistant Adit.
The pictures taken by Cka are now being processed and I'll definitely share the results with you when they're finished.
For now, enjoy the first peek of it... Sunday will be Erich's turn, and we'll see how that turns out

That's why there are the silly pictures so we can all share to you the process of it. But the actual pictures of course use professional camera by the photographers, Erich Silalahi and Cka.
They will retouch the photo, add different backgrounds and effects. Well... it is kinda like making music to me:) |

| these photos were taken by pocket camera, but the set and lighting were very pro. It takes skills and experience to compose them. Even the lights for the shoot are lightings for film, not for photography, to create a more dramatic feel to it.
