If you haven’t heard already, I got into a car accident earlier today at around 12:30pm. It happened on Jl RA Kartini, which is the feeder road of the tollroad from RS Fatmawati towards Poins Square / Carrefour Lebak Bulus in South Jakarta. I was on the way to meet my mother to prepare my costume for my CD’s cover photo.

The whole thing happened in a split second. It was one of those things that you just could not avoid.

I was riding in my Honda Jazz in the backseat. Left side. Then I saw that cars in the front suddenly hitting the brake. My driver also hit the brake.

The moment that I was about to tell him to be careful, I felt something hit me from behind, from the left side. I didn’t know what it was, but my car skidded from the impact and hit the car in front.

I have a folding table attached to the front seat (like the ones in airplanes), and it flipped and hit me in the rib cage. My right leg also hit the center console between the front seats.

I was in shock, and I was in pain. I couldn’t move for a while. A long while.I thought I was about to die, or went paralyzed. My driver was ok, and he got out of the car. I was still sitting inside the car, curled and a bit unconcious of what have just happened.I couldn’t move. My left elbow was also hit and I got a slight cut there.
It seemed like no one knew that I was still in the car. I looked at my laptop on the floor, it was still there although shifted place from the impact. I tried to pull my self together to call my dad. Unconciously still, the first thing passed in my mind when I tried to call my parents was to not making them panic.
I finally got out. There were lots of people there. Yasha is out of town, and I didn’t want him to panic.Luckily my parents live nearby so my dad and Wiwin came immediately to help me.

It was a 5 car pile-up. 3 cars in front of me ( the 1st car ran away, and then the 2 cars,too,they stopped for awhile, I did talked to them, but then they pull away and they ran away), and the white Express Taxi that hit me from behind (the taxi stayed). My car suffered the worst damage.

I thank God that I came out alive. Almost unscratched. My car was totaled. As you can see from the pictures, the car cannot be driven anymore. My insurance company took care of my care with the help of my dad. Police were also there. But I let my dad take care of things. Soon as they brought my car to the nearest Honda office, I went to hospital, I was affraid of the fractured bones. The doctor examined me, and told me there were no fractured bones. Thank God.
Just when the album is near completion, the more I am tested. Is this another test from God? Or will good things come out of this incident.

The car that I bought with my own hard-earned money is gone, just when the installment payment is completed.
