Cote d'Or - Noir Orange

Quality does come with high price. When the price of a goods is low that it's too good to be true, then it is probably too good to be true.

My manager went on a business trip to Singapore last week and brought me some chocolate ;)

From 2 varieties that I got, this Cote d'Or noir orange turned out to be really oh so good... Remember when we were little kids in Indonesia, and we just loved those little Van Houten chocolate 'plates' that you get at birthday parties?

Those Van Houtens would taste like wax when compared to this!

The one that I got actually come in 10gram wrappings, so they remain nice and neat in my fridge.. ;)

Now you know what chocolate I like... Dark chocolate!

So... know your chocolate, learn your chocolate, appreciate your chocolate... then let it melt in your mouth...

dark chocolate ? hmm ... I prefer white chocolate hehehehe ... no matter it's van houten, toblerone or cadbury :D

white chocolate terkadang rasanya terlalu milky dan terlalu manis, Windu

I like dark chocolate karena flavor nya 'robust'.. he he.. rich and intense..

This one is my favorite too Maylaf, it's a Belgian classic so it's quite easy to grab them here. Hmm, perhaps I could trade you a box of these with .... a personally signed copy of your CD? ;)

By the way..tadi siang, after lunch with my parents, entah kenapa mereka punya coklat dengan kadar 99%..dan pas kita makan semuanya pada mengernyitkan keningnya gitu...ha..ha...haaa.....it is so damn bitter for a chocolate! Segitu paitnya sampe kita curiga apakah itu memang buat dimakan atau buat apa..ha...ha..

Iya...kenapa yach...dark chocolate itu rasanya mantep gitu...intense..apa yach..kayaknya kalau dark chocolate itu adalah manusia, pastinya dia adalah manusia yg matang dan sudah settle..( apa sih..coklat aja ngebahasnya ampe begini..)

ha...ha...ha....I can consider that:)
I really like dark chocolate...it is the intensity that I like, not the sweetness...just like when I wrote in here that I like the ice mocha that I used to buy in Starbucks...it is not the coffee that I am looking for..but it's actually the intense taste of mocha that I really love. I think my dad also likes dark chocolate as well..while my mom does not really like chocolate.

I actually just bought a jar of Cote d'Or dark choco paste a few hours ago, it's a much better alternative to that peanut butter which have accompanied my morning bread for the past week ;) OK, I will throw in a jar like this as a bonus on top of the Cote d'Or noir Orange box, can you say no to that? ;)

Yes Mr Yasha, there is such a thing, and if as a manager you can convince Maylaf to take the deal then you get one jar too. Does that sounds like a bribe? I am bad ;)

He3x, apparently you're not an easy man to bribe Mr Yasha. Unfortunately my luggage is not that big. In any case, I will bring a couple jars when I fly home and keep it in the fridge just in case you or Maylaf decide to go for the deal ;)

cokelat tadi siang itu merk nya Meiji, dan itu satu2 nya kata di bungkusnya yg ditulis dalam tulisan latin; sisanya huruf kanji.

Tapi di bungkus sebelah depan ada juga Tanda SERU (!) di dalam segitiga, yg pastinya trying to tell us something. Sayang nya ngga ngerti!

Sepertinya utk sementara aku memilih makan cokelat yg Cocoa nya dibawah 80% dulu deh.. ;)

Oh.. suka coklat ini juga ya? Aku jarang2 ketemu orang yg suka merk itu :) Biasanya orang fav Godiva melulu.
Kebetulan aku suka juga, no 3 deh setelah Lindt (swiss thins dark dan yg diisi peppermint).
Btw, makan coklat itemnya Meiji yg baru ya? Hehehe... emang pait yg itu. Cobain yang dark 70%-nya... enak deh, paitnya pas.
Satu lagi yang worth to try: Meiji green tea (matcha) chocolate aka Melty Kiss. (eh ada ngga ya di Jkt?)
